A number of our members have been featured in "WILLIAMSBURG'S  NEXT DOOR NEIGHBORS". CONGRATULATIONS for well-deserved recognition!!
Those honored were:
  • General (Ret.) Anthony Zinni, United States Marine Corps.    August 2011 edition
  • Nick Costa,   Captain of the Jamestown-Scotland Ferry        November, 2011
  • Mary Addeo,   Special Education Teacher at Bruton High School -  September, 2012   
Vic Zodda was honored on the front of the Sports page of the Daily Press on June 30, 2011.Vic was the general manager of the Newport News Baby Dodgers, a Class A  Piedmont League , which won the League championship in 1954.   In 1955 the Brooklyn Dodgers disbanded the Baby Dodgers, and  Vic opened a very successful restaurant,"Vic Zodda's".  Later he started Victor Management Company which operated more than 30 hotels and employed nearly 3000 people.

When asked how he keeps his energy and youthful appearance he replies "pasta and garlic!" with a smile.  Now there is a true Italian!!
